The Pittsfield Welfare Department is located in the Town Hall, at 85 Main Street.
Unless it is a true emergency situation, clients are required to make an appointment in advance, in order to meet with the Welfare Director. Walk-in appointments are strictly for emergency cases only.
Applications are available in the lobby during Town Hall business hours. They are in the Pink Folder in the rack on the wall by the tax map table.
If you are seeking an appointment, or have specific questions for the Welfare Director, email email@example.com or call (603) 435-6773 x10 (Please remember to leave a message and be sure to include your name, number, and a brief reason for your call. Be sure to leave your phone number as clearly as possible. If you do not receive a call back within one business day, please call back, as there is a chance that the return phone number was not clear enough to return the call).
