Dustin Park

Located on Main Street this 1 acre park formerly known as Academy Park was deeded to the town of Pittsfield by Herbert Dustin in 1948. The Gazebo was dedicated in 1918, replacing a wooden structure. The Gazebo was given by Frank P Green. The gazebo is used for concerts in the park during the summer months. A Civil War statue was dedicated in 1890 in memory of the Soldiers and Sailors who served in the Civil War from Pittsfield. In 1974 a monument was erected in the front of the Park commemorating all those who served in World War I & II, Korea and Vietnam. The park is under the jurisdiction of the Parks & Recreation Commission.
