PUBLIC HEARING - consideration of acceptance of unanticipated revenue

Notice is hereby given in accordance with NH RSA 31:95-b that the Board of Selectmen will conduct a hearing to receive public comment concerning the acceptance of unanticipated revenue in excess of $10,000.

The Board of Selectmen has received a special one-time payment in accordance with the House Bill 2 effective in June 2023 and is required by statute to hold a public hearing regarding the acceptance of this unanticipated revenue of $32,559.59 as an additional municipal highway block grant payment for the maintenance, construction, and reconstruction of Class IV and V highways.

The public hearing will be held at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Town Office, 85 Main Street, Pittsfield, NH 03263.
