Project Inspire 603 is a non-profit started by Dee & George Ashford in memory of their daughter Vanessa Stevens. Vanessa was a Special Education teacher and her passion for teaching was a driving force for the Ashfords to keeps her memory alive. They have donated school supplies to area schools in her memory. A perennial plant sale, birdhouses, garden décor and raffles was started and has grown to continue the wonderful effort of donating supplies to local schools.
