Pittsfield Players’ Kids’ Theater Workshop "Grease" auditions

The Pittsfield Players’ Kids’ Theater Workshop will be performing the classic high school musical "Grease" this season with co-directors Maye Hart and Dee Dee Douglas. The show will rehearse throughout January and will be performed on February 23, 24 and 25. We’ll be looking for kids to fill 8 girl’s roles (4 major) and 9 guy’s parts (5 major) and there’s room for a large chorus. We’ll also be looking for kids (and parents) to work behind the scenes in lighting, sound, and set construction and painting. There’s even a chance to build a great Greased Lightning car! The Kids’ Theater Workshop is open to kids ages 8 to 18 and is designed to teach kids all aspects of theater – acting, singing, dance, as well as the technical side such as lighting, set design and construction, set decoration and painting, and backstage management.
