Pittsfield Players’ Kids’ Theater Workshop “Godspell, Jr.”

The Pittsfield Players’ Kids’ Theater Workshop will present “Godspell, Jr.” at the Scenic Theatre, 6 Depot St., Pittsfield, NH on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 17, 18, and 19, at 7pm each evening. Tickets, which are $12 for adults and $8 for kids under 12, are on sale now, and may be purchased through the players’ website pittsfieldplayers.org or reserved by calling 603-435-8852. Abraham Marcotte will be playing the role of Jesus in this presentation, and Biagio Donini will play the role of Judas. The ensemble cast includes Grey Dunlap, Natalie Cowser, Alinda Jacques, Cecily Schultz, Wyatt Rhymer, Alyssa Weaver, Benjamin Tedcastle, Carly Griffin, Rose Kadish, Kaylyn John-Zensky, Molly Vignola, and Annelissa Marcotte. Christopher Tedcastle will be handling lights and Victoria Cowser will be handling sound. The show is directed by Maye Hart and Dee Dee Douglas, who is also choreographing the show. Meg Rhymer is assistant director, and Jim Hart is set coordinator and lighting designer. Cathy Williams is handling costumes. The Kids’ Theater Workshop is a program for ages 8 to 18, designed to introduce kids to all aspects of theater production, from acting and singing and dancing to set construction and decoration, to lighting, sound and costuming. For over 25 years, the program has successfully introduced many youngsters to the discipline of theater arts.
