NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS COMMITTEE

The Board of Selectmen is looking for volunteers to serve on the newly re-organized Capital Improvements Program Committee.

The purpose of this committee (by statute) is to prepare a recommended program of capital improvement projects projected over a period of at least six years. The committee will seek input from both the town and school regarding the status of their current capital assets and their upcoming asset replacement and capital project needs. A thorough review of this input will be conducted to review asset replacement schedules and to prioritize the capital improvement projects – with the goal of running our town and school effectively and affordably for our community. This assessment will be utilized by the Selectmen, School Board, and Budget Committee in their consideration of the annual budget.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please submit a Volunteer Appointment Form, which can be found on the town website www.pittsfieldnh.gov or at the town hall, to cmarston@pittsfieldnh.gov by Friday, May 10, 2019.
