The Pittsfield Players is holding open auditions for their March production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". Director Meggin Dail is hoping to have a healthy audition turnout for this meaty drama. The cast consists of 2 men and 2 women, age range 20s-60s. At the same time, if she feels the cast expectations are not met for this dark drama, Dail will audition for her "Plan B" show, "Trifles", which also needs 2 men and 2 women, age range 40+. This is the first time The Players have attempted this type of dual audition in order to fill the March 2020 slot in their program, as well as satisfy an itch in Dail's personal directorial cache. Auditioners will be expected to read from both scripts. Please feel challenged enough to audition.
