    There are opportunities to volunteer for the following committees and commissions:. Conservation Commission, Community Development Committee, and Parks & Recreation Commission. If interested, please fill out the application available to download on the town website pittsfieldnh.gov or pick up an application from the town hall. Please return the completed application to the Selectmen’s Office and it will be distributed to the appropriate appointing authority.

  • Pittsfield Senior Center needs volunteers

    April 17, 2019 - April 30, 2019 @ 

    The Pittsfield Senior Center needs volunteers for Meals on Wheels for different days of the week at different times for only two hours a week. Some of the jobs includes working in the kitchen preparing items for Meals on Wheels, the community meal, setting up for the meals, and washing dishes. Training is provided, if interested please call 435-8482. The work is easy and gratifying and only takes two hours a week. There are also other jobs volunteers are needed for. Please call the Center.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Economic Development Committee to promote and improve the economic quality of life for the citizens of Pittsfield. In order to achieve this we work toward:1. Improving the size and diversity of the tax base
2. Preserving and revitalizing the Downtown
3. Providing guidance to the Board of Selectmen and Planning Board on matters of economic impact
4. Assisting existing legitimate businesses
5. Recruiting new businesses
6. Educating the public on ways to enhance Pittsfield’s image and attractiveness

Vision Statement

The Economic Development Committee envisions an economically prosperous community in which all decisions by town leaders are based on a unified plan for Pittsfield’s future, supported by town officials and residents and guided by Pittsfield’s Master Plan.
