The Concord Regional VNA is offering an eight-week falls prevention program “A Matter of Balance” that helps adults view falls and the fear of falling as controllable, change the environment to reduce fall risk factors and exercise to increase strength and balance. The program takes place on Tuesdays beginning October 3 from 10 a.m. to Noon at Pittsfield Senior Center, 74 Main Street in Pittsfield. There is no fee to attend this program and space is limited. At the Senior Center on Thursday, September 21, at 11:00 AM: Open House – “Masters of Aging!” Come share a meal, look at what the center has to offer to help you master the aging process. If you bring someone to the lunch that has not been here before, you and your friend will eat for free. We will also be showing a variety of items such as art, quilted wall hangings, and local photographs that were completed by other seniors. Open House: 11:00AM-1:00PM, Lunch: 12:00PM, Blood Pressure Check: 11:00-1:00PM and Entertainment: 11:30-12:30PM.

The Infant Toddler Diaper Pantry will be open on Tues, Sept. 19 from 9-11am at the First Congregational Church. Young families are given supplemental diapers and wipes. Everyone is welcome.
